Adding plant based protein powder to your pancakes is such an easy trick to make them a superfood!
Do you follow me on Instagram? Then you know that I make green pancakes.
They are really green — I usually add a bunch of plant protein powder to the batter I make for our pancakes, and Don and Landon don’t mind.
It’s such a super-easy way to add wholesome protein, fiber, and vitamins to breakfast.
I recently was able to try another protein powder I haven’t used before: organic, plant-based Orgain Protein Powder.
Just the kind of product I want to try as a huge believer and supporter of organic food and as a vegetarian.
Nutrients from Plants: Orgain Organic Protein Powder
Orgain was created by Dr. Andrew Abraham. His experience seeking high-quality nutrition during cancer treatment years ago inspired him to develop a delicious nutrition products with the highest quality organic ingredients.
He believes high-quality food saved his life.
Orgain Protein Powder is made from plant-based protein, including brown rice, hemp, chia, and pea proteins.
I was thrilled to see that it’s also gluten-free, so I was able to add it to our weekend pancakes.
It’s also dairy and soy and lactose free, so many people who want to avoid those ingredients or have allergies are able to use Orgain.
It’s a total super food — and it tastes great! It doesn’t taste chalky like many other protein powders and has a smooth, creamy texture.
We all loved our Orgain pancakes, and I’ve also since used it for smoothies.
Orgain can be incorporated into all kinds of recipes:
- shakes
- smoothies
- healthy treats
- pancakes
- and more
Orgain also makes organic nutritional shakes.
