If you are like me — you can’t keep a plant alive more than a few weeks.
I mean, I even kill succulents.
So when I was approached by Nearly Natural — the company that creates stunning silk plants, silk trees, silk and artificial flowers, wreaths, and more — I couldn’t wait to choose a couple and decorate with them.
I spent over an hour looking at the endless options on the site. There are so many flowers and plants, with many different beautiful containers, that would look lovely in our cottage.
I finally chose two of the 29” Topiary w/Decorative Planter and a Double Phalaenopsis Orchid in White Vase.
I’m so thrilled with them. It was easy to incorporated the Nearly Natural plants into our home decor — they fit right in.
I’ve spent so much money on live orchids for this spot on the little dresser in our living room, and now I can use this one for years to come instead.
The little flowers will never wilt, and I never have to water it — yay!
It’s incredible how realistic these plants look. Nearly Natural has a history of 75 years and goes the extra step and actually employs horticulturalists to ensure that their products all look and feel realistic.
The leaves of the orchid absolutely feel real, and they can be bent a little bit into the position you like the best.
I’ve already received compliments for having such a pretty orchid — and my sister-in-law couldn’t believe it’s not real.
Topiaries are all the rage right now, and I’ve already used mine in two spots — one on our mantel, and right now both are flanking our front door on the porch. The planter is surprisingly heavy for it’s size, which is nice so you don’t have to worry about it falling over.
Would you like plants and flowers you don’t have to take care of that will look pretty for many, many years?
