You haven’t decorated for Easter yet? No problem.
I’m here to encourage you to do it.
Last-Minute Pastel Easter Decor
Decorating doesn’t have to be elaborate, just do a little bit — and then you can keep the decor for spring.
I was in the same pickle of wondering if I should even decorate for Easter, but I’m so glad I took the time to do it last night.
It all started with this $10 tablecloth I bought at the Christmas Tree Shops a few weeks ago. It looks so cheerful, so I went with the pastel color scheme.
I set the table for Easter brunch and paired little colorful plates with simple white plates that almost serve as chargers.
The glasses were a recent find from the clearance aisle at HomeGoods.
I featured these glittery Easter houses a couple of years ago in a post, and they fit this year’s pastel theme perfectly.
My mom sent us a care package full of German chocolate and Easter decor, just in time to make them part of my tablescape. They literally arrived an hour before I took the pictures. We have since eaten a lot of them.
If you don’t have a lot of Easter decor, you might have egg cups you could decorate with.
Have you noticed the vintage Easter bunny I found last week at the tag sale?
The egg-shaped little cups are from HomeGoods, and the grass bunnies are from last-years Easter decor.
I was inspired by Sharon’s Easter centerpiece to use my vintage Jello molds for mine.
Those little wooden figurines are tag sale finds that I gravitate to because they remind me of my childhood in Germany. My mom has similar ones.
Here is another super-easy way to decorate for Easter if you have a cloche: simply put a bunch of Easter eggs into it. I use cloches for most of my styling project.
If you saw my post on Instagram yesterday, you’ll notice that I decided against the six egg holders on our mantel — they were just too much, and I wanted to keep it simple.
Sometimes less is definitely more. The egg holders look adorable on our windowsill instead.
This Easter banner was easy to make – I just removed the shamrocks from St. Patrick’s Day and added four little wooden carrots I found at the craft store with glue dots.
I added the “B” to cover the wreath hock, but I really like it there.
So there you have it, my last-minute pastel Easter decor. I hope I inspired you with a few of my ideas.
