To make the space look even more inviting, I added a nice spread of snacks and drinks, and everything football-themed I had so they could hang out on the porch a well as in the house.
I even decorated with the picture of Don’s father, who was a football player in high school and Columbia University in NYC.
Don went on to be the quarterback in high school, and that’s his football on the green bench they used in many games they won.
These lights are easy to hang, since every one of them comes with a hole you can either use with a hook or a nail, or in my case, I used twine to secure the lights in three spot.
If you have an outdoor space you want to brighten up, these lights are your best choice.
They are shatterproof and so well made that you don’t have to worry about the bulbs at all if your guest are throwing around a football – which is usually the case when the Bleasdale Clan gets together.
They are impact resistant – they won’t break if dropped or stepped on, or when they get blown around in the wind. They can be kept outdoors all year.
Landon was enjoying the lights — and the snacks — before everyone came over.
