DIY Valentine’s Day Envelope With Staples
Need a super-easy Valentine’s Day idea?
I made this DIY Valentine’s Day envelope with staples instead of glue and filled it with a little chocolate treat. It’s an instant little gift.
You can make a small envelope or a bigger one, depending on the kind of treat you want to put into it, and it only take a few minutes to make.
These envelopes make perfect little handmade gifts for your husband or boyfriend, or for your child or his/her classmates.
Valentine’s Day Envelope With Staples Supplies:
- red or pink or white craft paper
- stapler
- scissors
- candy or chocolates or other treats or little gifts
- optional: heart stickers, Sharpie to write on the envelope
Valentine’s Day Envelope With Staples Tutorial:
I folded the paper in half and cut it into two pieces.
Then I decided how large I wanted to make the envelope and folded the page twice.
To make the triangle, I found the center of the top of the page by putting the two corners together and pinched the middle. Then I folded the corners down to make the triangle for the envelope closure.
I stapled the two triangles down and then stapled the sides closed. I could have also glued down the corners.
I filled the envelope with the chocolate and closed it with a sticker. If you don’t have heart stickers, just cut a heart out of paper and glue it down.
There you go: a little Valentine’s Day treat for someone special.
