I like to always show you my latest thrifty or vintage finds. This week I have a thrifty find from the craft store.
I have been wanting to buy cotton stems, but they can be really pricey.
When I was at the craft store last week, I tracked down the cotton stems and was happy to find them for half off.
I only paid $2.99 per stem!
Here they are in the vintage milk glass vase I bought last week.
Cotton Stems
You can also find cotton stems for less on Amazon.
BTW, as you can see, I made another toilet paper roll pumpkin! Here is the tutorial for them.
I used some left-over batting and plastic bags for the inside, and fabric, and ribbon for the outside.
When I was looking for what I could use as a stem, I found that one of my vintage spools fits perfectly into the middle.
There you go, cotton stems for less and a DIY fabric pumpkin that didn’t cost me are the star of my current decor, showing once more that you don’t have to spend a lot of money on decor.
