I made unique DIY fridge magnets by reusing a pretty postcard — this project only takes a few minutes! Create these pretty handmade magnets for yourself or as a gift.

A few weeks ago, we received this pretty card in the mail from an art gallery.

Most Beautiful Christmas Cottage Decor Ideas

I started decorating for the holidays, but before I show you my Christmas Home Tour, here are some beautiful Christmas cottage decor ideas I have been inspired by.

This Christmas, I want to go for a simpler style — I can usually not help myself to use every last ornament we have on our Christmas tree.

Well, I don’t have it in my heart to stop Landon from hanging every last ornament on the tree, because he loves trimming the tree so much. So we usually end up with a very colorful tree.

My goal for this year is to decorated more sparingly first, take the pictures for the Home Tour, and then let him go to town. We’ll see how that works out.

But to be fair, the rest of the Blue Cottage usually also overflows with Christmas decor, and that is all my doing.

This is how I decorated our living room for Christmas last year.

Bottle brush tree decor is so beautiful! Here is a simple decor idea that only takes minutes to put together and got so popular that Hometalk asked me to make a show about it for them.

Do you have a pie tin collecting dust in your house or maybe your Grandma’s house?

When I needed a centerpiece for my Christmas tablescape, I decided to create an easy one with one of my vintage pie tins and a group of bottle brush trees and a glass cloche.

I collect vintage pie tins and have been wanting to make something out of one for a while, and I just love the look of cute little bottle brush trees.
