On Saturday is the big day: The Newburgh Vintage Emporium is going to open.
Which means my Dagmar’s Home Decor booth — with vintage items, soy candles, and eventually painted furniture — will be open for business!
The pressure is on to finishing my booth. Fifty other vendors are also setting up their spaces, so the place has been buzzing the last few days. We are all really excited for this amazing place to be ready for customers.
I had to find an inexpensive way to outfitting my booth. After a little bit of research, I found metal shelves at Kohls that are super-easy to set up and cost under $100 each, and a carpet at KMart for only $20.
I needed a large “Dagmar’s Home Decor” sign for my booth, and I wanted to make it myself. But out of what?
