One of my favorite storage hacks is to buy see-through shoe organizers you hang on the inside of door.

I use one for small toys in Landon’s room and another one for my scarves, but as you can see, you can also use it for snacks and spices, etc.

I would actually like another one just for tools like screwdrivers so I have them handy all the time.

I’m sitting on the couch, eating chips with spinach and kale Greek yogurt dip, and watching one of my favorite shows, Fixer Upper.

Joanna has my dream job: she’s a blogger and designer who styles homes with rustic and shabby chic farmhouse decor. Her husband Chip is a carpenter/contractor and works alongside with her on the homes.

They take the ugliest fixer upper in the best neighborhood and work their magic, completely transforming the house.

This is not a recipe for “mock” mashed potatoes made with cauliflower — this recipe combines both: cauliflower and potatoes.

Mashed potatoes without potatoes? Not in my kitchen.

I love, love, love potatoes. I ate them almost every day growing up in Germany, mostly just boiled in salt water.

Combining both cauliflower and potatoes makes a yummy dish that’s also healthy because you are substituting half of the potatoes for cauliflower.

Well, substitute sounds like you are giving up something, which you aren’t here: you are adding a vegetable and cutting some calories.

Cauliflower is low in calories, and adds many vitamins, indole-3-carbinol, and sulforaphane that help prevent being overweight, diabetes and offer protection from several cancers. [Read more…]
