Or the fact that those single-use K-cups make every cup of coffee crazy expensive?

K-Cups aren’t recyclable or compostable. The plastic garbage produced by K-Cup waste is enormous. In 2013 alone, Green Mountain produced 8.3 billion K-Cups in 2013, enough to circle the Earth almost 11 times.

That’s for just one year!

There is nothing eco-friendly about K-Cups, sorry. But there is a solution.

You can pull off this easy DIY project in just minutes – even if Halloween is just around the corner. Making this DIY Frankenstein cup was a lot of fun.

It’s so easy that it’s also a great activity for kids to do before Halloween or during a Halloween party.

Or you could put together little gift bags with all of the supplies for your kid’s friends! Simply put all the little supplies, the Sharpie, googly eyes, and little clothes pins into the undecorated cup and then put the cup into a cellophane bag for a little DIY Frankenstein cup kit.

Since I have plenty of all of these supplies at home, I made some unique dreamcatchers recently.

Pinterest was so thrilled about them that they asked me to create a live show to show you how to make three easy dreamcatchers! Here is the link to that show!

Dreamcatchers were originally introduced by some Native American cultures. It is usually a handmade willow hoop with a woven web and may also include sacred items such as feathers or beads.
