You’ll never guess what I used for this simple Valentine’s Day decor: I rediscovered my vintage heart-shaped jello molds when I was organizing our storage room last week, and I decided to use them for this quick Valentine’s Day decor and tablescape.
Because Valentine’s day will be here before you know it, right? I’ll show you that pulling off some decorating for any holiday doesn’t have to take long.
Simple Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas
I can never get enough of styling table settings: I love to think of all the dishes I have, decide which ones will work best, and look out for a few new items.
Putting it all together is my favorite part.

I had a vintage heart-shaped pie tin I had totally forgotten about and put it under the little jewelry holder I used as a candy dish for my tablescape last year as well.
Heart paper doilies are a super simple way to add color or texture to a table setting.
I used the little paper mason jars on the table this year — do you remember the banner I made with them?
How adorable is this vintage Valentine?! The ones they sell nowadays just don’t even get close to these vintage ones.
This tic-tac-toe game is from Target. I used the xoxo banner again on the mantel, just a little differently than last year.
I wasn’t sure which picture to put on the mantle, but when I looked through the big ones I have, I thought this one with the Eiffel Tower I repainted white was perfect with the touch of red.
When I photographed all this, I used these shabby chic corbels — they have now been added to our porch and look so cute there.
The red wreath, heart with the key, and wood hearts are new from the Christmas Tree Shops. They run around $3 each, which is a good deal.
That’s it: simple Valentine’s Day decor for our Blue Cottage.
