I had time to drive to the mall a few days ago and ran into the Christmas Tree Shops for some inexpensive folding chairs.
And I came home with this awesome rustic cake stand!
I decided against a windmill wheel because it was so big, but that cake stand — so cute and unique with the kind of heart shapes around the edge.
Or are they supposed to be leaves? It was only $17. Sold!
So this is how it looks now in my kitchen, on my favorite console table.

I’m tempted to white wash my new cake stand – but then again I’m tempted to white wash about everything in my house that’s not white, including my field stone fireplace.
