Natural Deodorants
Does it matter to you what’s inside products you use every day? Do you want a simple ingredient list?
I try to buy natural and organic products whenever possible, and that also includes personal care products like deodorants.
It’s important to me to avoid artificial ingredients and preservatives – why would I want them in my body or on my body? Since our skin is our biggest organ, it is vital to use quality personal care products.
There are so many toxins surrounding us in our environment that we can’t avoid, but we can choose to buy non-toxic goods for our home and body.
Tom’s of Maine harnesses the power of nature for a more naturally effective way to care for yourself and your family.
Their natural deodorant is the best-selling natural deodorant and has been for decades.
Tom’s of Maine is introducing a new deodorant formula with new and improved scents, and the most important part to me is that they are all free of
- aluminum
- artificial fragrances
- and petrochemicals
They created 24-hour odor protection using odor-fighting hops, the mineral zinc, and only natural fragrances.
Here are the six scents:
- Long Lasting Unscented
- Long Lasting Lavender
- Long Lasting Powder
- Long Lasting Tea Tree
- Long Lasting Apricot
- Long Lasting Lemongrass
I’ve tried the lavender, lemongrass, and apricot deodorant for several days now, and my absolute favorite one is apricot!
I have a very good sense of smell and usually use unscented skin care products, but this has such a nice, fresh, and faintly sweet smell I want to smell every day.
It’s also important to me that no animal testing or animal ingredients are used to make these products, and that they give 10 percent of profits back to helping people and the planet.
A tip about natural products:
- When trying a natural personal care product for the first time, give your body time to adjust. If your body is used to a conventional product, you might need a little time to adjust to a natural formula free of chemicals and artificial ingredients.
