Cupcake Wrapper Flowers
I have so many cupcake wrappers in the house – I could make these today.
These peonies were made with cupcake wrappers:
You can buy this set in many different colors:
Crepe Paper Flowers
Crepe paper has a great texture to make DIY flowers with.
Tissue Paper Flowers
Since I am a gift wrapping supply hoarder, I can’t wait to try out these sweet tissue paper flowers.
If you own vintage sewing pattern tissue, you could make these flowers. I especially love the blue line – they remind me of farmhouse tea towels. How pretty is this?
Paper Doily Flowers
I stock up on sweet paper doilies when I see them because you can use them for so many craft projects.
These paper doily flowers look like carnations, don’t they?
Book Pages Flowers
Well, if you have the heart to cut up a book, you can make these beautiful book pages flowers.
I bet you have a book that you could part with, right? You could personalize these flowers: make them out of your favorite poetry book or children’s book.
Coffee Filter Flowers
I don’t use coffee filters anymore since I use the reusable cup for my Keurig machine, so I’d have to buy some coffee filters for these flowers.
You can color white coffee filters any color you want for the flowers, or use already brown coffee filters.
Paint Chip Flowers
Here is the easiest DIY paper flower to make: paper flowers made from paint chips. You can pick them up in any store that sells paint – just don’t take too many to be fair to other customers.
Have you ever made paper flowers? Which material did you use?
Why not sit down with the kids for arts and crafts and make one of these?
