I went to this year’s local Women’s Club tag sale, which is one sale I get up early for. This is probably my favorite sale of the year.
Landon tagged along with me.
He only bought one toy — not this one — and I bought soo many treasures!
We spent hours at the sale. I shopped a bit, Landon ate a bagel, I shopped some more, Landon played at the playground. We stop to say hi to friends, bought Don two gluten-free brownies, and I shopped some more.
After four hours or so, the car was full with amazing finds. Not sure why L looks like he’s mad — we had a lot of fun.
This is most of what I bought, but there are many more smalls that are not in this picture.
This amazing little vintage trunk was only $9! And the mason jars were just $2.
Plus, on the way home, I went to another tag sale and bought more things. I spent over $150, but you wouldn’t believe how many items I acquired for a dollar or two.
I could have bought many more, but I was actually really picky this time, since I don’t have my booth at the Newburgh Vintage Emporium anymore.
Trying to decide which one of my finds is my favorite is pretty hard. It’s a toss-up between that awesome trunk and this set of five white vintage canisters.
They were my first purchase at 9 am — and set me back the most, $40 — but I just had to have them for our white cottage kitchen.
I filled the big “flour” canister with all the bags of flour I had in the pantry and put it on the top of the fridge. It freed up a lot of space in our pantry, which is a plus.
Now, why do you suppose there are two “tea” canisters? Is the second from a different set?
Could be, since the label is different.
