I’m taking my new CRV for a spin and driving to the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY, today! I can’t wait.
This fair is organized by one of my favorite magazines and going to be at the fairground Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The fair offers great shopping, seminars and demonstrations, delicious food, and a chance to meet their editors.
Follow all the fun on my Instagram account if you can’t make it yourself!
I’ve been going to #CLfair the last two years, and here are just a few pictures from last year’s visit. You can see the whole post here. And here is my post from 2013.
Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck
I can’t tell you how much I love this fair. I feel so at home there! There are so many vintage goodies, and an abundance of beautiful vignettes to be inspired by.
And an abundance of vintage mason jars.
I’m currently using two of mine in my mantel display. They were the perfect height to hold the shelf in place.
I bought that bird feeder last year — it’s now hanging on our porch.
And I bought this vintage tablecloth — it is super soft from years of wear.
I’ve used it many times since then.
I wanted everything in this booth — how can you not?
Maybe I’ll see the lovely Cari Cucksey from Cash & Cari again. I love the show and chatted with her the last two years.
I plan to buy some of her RePurpose ReColor Chroma•Color™ Paint or Tinted•Tincture™ Stain to finally paint our living room chairs. I hear that I can paint the cushions with the paint, which would save me the work of reupholstering the seats.
