I’ll show you a super easy way to make DIY wall art with vintage seed packets!
Welcome to Dagmar’s Home! I love vintage and affordable decor, and this little DIY projects fits that bill.
Do you remember this odd frame I found at HomeGoods on clearance for just $7 because one of the frames was broken off?

I wanted to show you how I ended up using it!
I simply took all the small frames off the larger one, removed about 50 nails, and then framed vintage seed packets to display them on our wall next to my “linen closet” curio upstairs.
Vintage Seed Packets Decor
If the vintage seed packets look familiar, I’ve used them in the past for this banner.
If you want to copy this look, here is a beautiful set of vintage seed packets pictures you could use.
Instead of putting five nails into the wall for the five frames, I used my trusty removable Command velcro stickers to hang the frames.
I love them for so many projects and buy them in bulk.
I like that they make hanging wall decor straight so easy because you can remove the frame and readjust it on the Velcro if it’s not quite right.
Plus, you can remove the strips without damaging the wall when you change your mind and want to hang something different on the wall.
For Christmas, I think I’m adding a wreath above the large frame, with a Command hook.
In the future, I can easily exchange the seed packets with all kinds of other art in the frames. I certainly have enough vintage photos and book pages and postcards in my growing collection.

Dagmar, I love what you did with that $7. frame! Was it already distressed or did you do that yourself? It looks great.
I also like the better homes and gardens holiday dishes, but I was disappointed that they are only sold and shipped by walmart which is a company I never patronize because of their employee practices and the way they have driven local stores out of business all over the country. Too bad.

Hi Naomi, yes, the frame was distressed, but got more distressed when I pulled out all the nails.
