Hi there, here are just a few pictures of how I decorated our Blue Cottage for fall this year!
In a few hours I’m boarding a plane to Memphis to attend the Amy Howard Blogger Event.
I took pictures yesterday of some fall vignettes in our house that I didn’t show you in my Blue Cottage Fall Home Tour post.
I wanted pictures of them before I redecorate everything for Christmas.
You might recognize some of these vintage and thrifty finds from previous posts, but you haven’t seen them used like this in our cottage yet.
Vintage Fall Vignettes
How pretty does the $9 vintage trunk I recently bought look as a coffee table in front of our big fireplace?
The trunk used there before is now sitting under the Sauder desk we are using as a TV stand.
Here are two of the shoe molds I bought on my antiquing trip to Pennsylvania.
These golden pumpkins and vintage bottle candle holders are repurposed from the tablescape I made for HomeGoods, and I added a painting Landon made last year in school.
Aren’t those pumpkins beautiful? It’s amazing what kids can create with just glue and chalk. I need to frame those.
All of these items are thrifty and vintage finds I scored this year.
I hope you enjoyed these vintage fall vignettes — come on over to see them in person any time you are in the area :)
I have a similar table I used for fall decor on our porch.
