To me, it means nesting, and making a thrifty DIY fall centerpiece with a glass pumpkin I bough for $3 the other day, a pumpkin, a few fake pumpkins and acorns from the craft store, and a little pumpkin box I already had.
Fall means beautiful, colorful foliage everywhere in Westchester, and little boys who want to play in them.
Fall mean making more of my soy candles and gift baskets and decorating them with fall colors.
These candles and gift baskets are now available at Salinger’s Farm Market in Brewster.
Fall means fun fall crafts and pumpkin painting at 4-H:
And fall means cuddling up for afternoon naps:

I love fall. Both of my kids were fall babies :) My daughter will be 18 in Nov. and my son will be 15 this month! The time has gone by so quickly. I remember bringing my daughter home and crying when it got dark early because I knew I wouldn’t get any sleep! How things have changed. I love trick or treat time. I love the beautiful leaves. Love Thanksgiving! I love how it gets dark early now that I don’t have a newborn :) (it was only hormones!) I love the coziness of it. The fuzzy socks, warm robes, cozy blankies. Thanks for sharing your fall thoughts :)
