I just received my Mothering newsletter and learned that
October is Attachment Parenting Month!
I’m a proud supporter of Attachment Parenting. I loved co-sleeping with my baby from the day he was born, breastfed my son for years, and in general believe in trusting my instincts and creating a close bond to my child with gentle parenting choices.
All of those parenting choices seemed intuitive to me, but two years into motherhood I learned that my parenting style had a name: AP
Are you interested in
- natural birth
- breastfeeding
- gentle attachment parenting
- child-led weaning
- cloth diapering
- babywearing
- bed sharing and co-sleeping
Then Dagmar’s momsense is a blog for you. I offer many resources about these subjects, and even though Landon is almost 6 now, I will continue to be interested in and write about what is new about natural birth, breastfeeding, babywearing, and co-sleeping.
Are you new to attachment parenting and wondering about its advantages? Here are more resources and information about AP by AP International.
