Last Sunday we took a trip to one of my favorite places in the fall: Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard in Nouth Salem, NY. Boy, did I get stunning pictures during the hayride!
This was the first week they had all their fall things out: pumpkins, apples gallore, and Halloween decorations.
The farm changed owners last year and now Harvest Moon is working on getting their organic certification and even sells books about healthy living. Don picked one up while I bought apples, their yummy cider donuts, apple cider, and a coffee.

Bring the kids: Harvest Moon has a bouncy castle, face painting, live country music, apple picking, and many fun activities for kids and adults every weekend until Halloween.
Waiting for the hayride. L paid for his own ride after we had already spent plenty of money on other things.
Look how beautiful Westchester is — aren’t those mountains just stunning?
The hayride goes through the apple orchard, past vegetable fields, and is quite bumpy but so much fun. L absolutely loved it, and I must say I’m glad he insisted on doing it.
This kids loves to pose: L grabbed these and wanted to get a picture. I’m already sad about the day that’s going to stop.

If you are near Nouth Salem, NY, definitely stop by Harvest Moon! Their country store is full of cute gifts and yummy food — and I’m now selling my handmade candles and gift baskets there.

This looks like sooo much fun! Can’t wait for the fall to come here in NC! ;-)
I love places like this! Our family goes every year to a local one by us in Long Island and even my 13 year old still gets into it!! Great photos! Looks like you all had a great time! Thanks for sharing.
Love these photos!! How fun!
Great photos! Was just looking at their website, planning our trip up there soon.
You’ll have a blast — thanks for your comment, Sol! They just got a little donkey, Luna, so cute.
That looks like so much fun! I could seriously use some cider donuts right now! Thanks for sharing the pictures :) I love fall.
