My latest tweet sums up my state of mind: I’m leaving for BlogHer ’12 tomorrow. Tomorrow!
We just came back from three days in Pennsylvania, I haven’t even unpacked from that trip, and now I need to pack a bigger suitcase for three nights in New York City.
BlogHer ’12 sponsor? Little Pima, check. New business cards? Check. But that’s about it so far. I still have to print out the ticket, the hotel reservation info, the agenda, the invitation confirmations of all the events I was invited to…
And I think I’m out of ink.
My post about the Amish Country will have to wait. Same with a post about World Breastfeeding Week.
Plus, it might be prudent to get some food into this house or the kid is going to eat cereal bars for three days.
The one thing that did miraculously come together was getting new outfits for BlogHer ’12.
I didn’t even plan to buy new clothes, but I happened to have to go to the bank yesterday, which happens to have a T.J.Maxx next to it.
I thought I’ll just take a look and see if I can find a new dress. I was getting pretty tired of my old ones, and I ended up buying four, plus two new cardigans. Because I’m always freezing in those conference rooms.
Here is my loot. I’m pretty proud that I only paid $150 for all of these dresses.
