I can’t stand neon colors. I didn’t like that trend when it was around when I was a kid. Wearing neon? Neon finger nails? Not in a million years.
But then I got curious — could I embrace decorating my home with neon accents? They are kind of fun. So I scoured Pinterest for examples of neon accents I would like. And surprise, surprise, I found a lot!
I’m not sure I would want to commit to painting a door in our house this jarring neon green, but it certainly makes a cool statement.
This is a genius idea: I assume this “table” is just a wall decal that can be removed when you get sick of it. Or you could just paint something less intricate on the wall and paint over it again when neon isn’t the rage anymore or you want a different look.
I love that chandelier decal; it’s on my wish list. But since I found my perfect chandelier a while ago, I’m not sure that both would work together in the same house.
This is a cool way to incorporate neon accents in a rustic country kitchen — why not buy a few neon pink chairs for a pop of color? It actually works for me because all the accents are in the same neon color.
I also found this idea intriguing: a few small furniture spray painted in different colors, in harmony with a vintage wooden bench. And why not spray paint the wires of the lighting fixtures while you are at it?
