I have been invited to the Quaker Heart Health Challenge and decided to take it on and make it part of my routine because this totally fits into my current goal I blogged about yesterday — to lose the extra 10 pounds I gained last year and getting fit and toned again.
February is American Heart Month and I’ve committed to complete 15 workouts in 30 days to help keep my heart healthy and strong. I think keeping track of my journey online will help me achieve that goal.
I’m committed to work out at least twice a week at the gym (mostly with weights) and add other workouts (walk/run or strength training at home). I’m eating more (milk) protein and I might even throw in a 3-day juicing fast, who knows? :)
I’ll let you know how it’s going at the end of this month. Want to join me?
Joining the Quaker Heart Health Challenge is my first step towards becoming a healthier me. Now I’m curious to know, what motivates you to stay healthy?
