Here are pictures and two videos of the fabulous day we had at SeaWorld.
Because Landon is obsessed with “Free Willy” movies and loves dolphins and killer whales, I couldn’t wait to go.
Once again, the weather was perfect — 75 degrees.
I used to always make a good-luck penny for my dad wherever I would see these penny stamping machines in America and send it to him as a souvenir, so we made one with dolphins.
The first show, the one with dolphins and a “fake” killer whale (odd looking thing) was my favorite. Brought tears to my eyes, it was so touching.
On our way to the dolphin nursery for the special treat of the day: meeting and touching dolphins!
Don and L watching this craziness: the upside-down roller coaster.
Someone got splashed by a dolphin!
Seeing and touching the dolphins was amazing. They feel kind of like a hard-boiled egg.
The dolphins sang for us!
No words.
The last show we saw, One Ocean, was in the huge Shamu Stadium.
Don and L wanted to sit in the first 15 rows, which they tell you (in big letters) you will get soaked in. I was too afraid my camera would get wet, so I sat higher up.
And people got absolutely soaked, but Don and L got luck somehow.
Here is a video of the finale of the show. Breathtaking.
I had the good sense to not buy this huge plush orca for L.
After this picture my camera battery died — for the second time. I had charged it already once in a SeaWorld outlet I found because I was a picture-taking fool all day and wasn’t going to miss taking picture when we were meeting the dolphins.
If you saw my tweets from that day, you already knew that. And that Don and L went up a very tall tower, and that L got lost in one of the kids attractions. And that we were completely exhausted after our day at SeaWorld.
A good, happy exhausted.

I haven’t been there for a long long time. I am hoping next year!
Great pictures! We also just got back form Sea World, and my favorite was the dolphin show! It was our first time there, and I was so pleasantly surprised. Glad you enjoyed it, too!
