I want to share with you a few blogs I love. Obviously, I like all of the blogs on my blogroll, but I wanted to give a special shout-out to the following three (Dooce is so popular, it doesn’t need one!):
This blog has it all: funny entries about life, recipes, tutorials for great photographs, contests and giveaways, and poetry. I just love the design of this blog and the amazing pictures Ree takes. She lives on a working cattle farm with her husband and four kids. And since I am a “Little House of the Prairie” kind of gal — I love those clothes and I love how less complicated life was back then. I would love to live in a time without TV and cell phones, where your entertainment was a great book and the community was so close — I can’t get enough of this blog. By the way, that is NOT why we named our son Landon. Growing up, I spend summers on a dairy farm (my first big love at 14 years old was the farmhand! Ooh, Thomas…). And one of my best and oldest girlfriends in Germany runs a pig farm we visit every time we are in Germany. I would be happy on a farm.
Suzana has a great, sleek blog with entries about her life and plenty of reviews and giveaways. She also has entries about being green, health and fitness, and shopping. She sews, knits, and paints and sells her products on Etsy. She has been a great help to me as a newbie in this blogging world, thanks Suzana!
I just love the premise, that “the third kid changes EVERYTHING!” Deb’s entries are funny and, again, I like the layout of the blog and the pictures.
