Things are kind of crazy around here. Don is sick with aches and a cough and a headache, so I am trying to get him better, emphasis on trying because he doesn’t want to take anything. Why do men have to be so difficult when they have a cold? Take two Advil and some cough medicine already instead of groaning so much! I think he’ll live…
And then I got a message today that the deadline for my latest proofreading project—the most tedious one I have worked on in a long time—got moved, and now I need to get everything done in a week. I was ready to e-mail them that they will have to find someone else, as they had offered, but then Don said I might give that a second thought, we could use the money. Yes, we could, but I figured I would take that extra time to work on my blog (which would have been so much more fun!). But since Don offered to take Landon a lot during the next week (I love you, Sweets, even if you are sneezing 100 times a day), I rewrote the e-mail, saying that I’ll get it done somehow. Which means no staying up having fun blogging but staying up reading about “incrementalism in policy making.” Fun, huh?
So if you don’t hear/read much from me in the next week, it’s because my eyes will be glazing over from proofreading until late at night. Maybe I’ll sneak a peak once in a while at your comments (I love your comments, keep them coming!) and get to post the next entry I am working on, but don’t count on it. Have a great week!
(Did you notice my blog button? Another blogging mommy made it for me and I think it is so cute! It’s so perfect, that’s just like I sit in front of the computer while blogging, with Landon coming over and pointing at the screen! Grab it if you want to exchange links.)
