Nursing on a Plane…

by Dagmar on March 31, 2009

Today was a very productive day. I talked to Continental Airlines and finally got my $175 refunded they owe me (I had been avoiding that call for six months!). And I booked the next flight to Germany for Landon and me. It’s going to be interesting how L will do with his own seat, yet with much less space in front of him. So far I always got the bassinette aisle, which gives you so much more legroom. And room to nurse! I have actually nursed him laying down on the plane once when we had the whole aisle for ourselves. I nurse everywhere; I don’t care! People are so impressed with how quiet he is, they don’t dare to say something or shoot me a look. I think they can tell that they would get one right back!

While L was at the sitter’s house, I copyedited my latest project a bit and called the publisher. After L’s nap, we drove into town to go to the bank and to CVS to get a CD of my latest pictures (I desperately need a new camera!). After that we walked to the playground and played there for a while with another little boy. It was pretty windy and cold, so we headed back after half an hour. Don came home and I made dinner (fish and chips and veggies, L didn’t like the fish) and gave L a bath. After Don and L did some yoga and wrestled, L didn’t protest much to go to sleep. I kissed Don good night and am still on the computer at 1:30 a.m! So here is a quick new picture! Off to bed…
